| Swordfish: The Monterey Aquarium has moved Atlantic Swordfish to the "Good Alternatives" column from the "Avoid" column since the north Atlantic population continues to rebound, however, some concerns remain about the southern Atlantic stock. The EFA will be considering if it should take this fish off our banned list and substitute cod or some other fish. This good news proves that we really can help the populations of endangered fish by refusing to serve it. Keep tuned for more news in January. |
